Numbnuts 2022 Challenge
My Story
This year we are cycling over 1000 miles from the Northampton Saints across Europe, passing through Hamburg, Germany, on to Denmark and Copenhagen, then onwards to our final destination of Stockholm, Sweden.
Since their first challenge in 2015 with 10 riders cycling from 1000 miles Lands End to John O’Groats Team Numbnuts have raised almost £70,000 for charities. The Numbnuts has grown over the last 6 years with more riders joining each challenge and we now have 25 Numbnutters. Not all are riders, we hold our essential support crews in high regard and they too are classed as Numbnutters.
The Nutters are raising funds for the Northampton Saints Foundation and The Willow Ward at Northampton General Hospital. Our target this challenge is to raise a £60,000. It's not just cycling, there’s also dancing at our Numbnuts Party at the Picturedrome in November 2022 where all are welcome to come party, plus a Golf Day at the prestigious Northampton Golf Club October 2022, again open to all.
